Founded in 2023, Boring was surprisingly born out of boredom. We were done with the corporate hamster wheel. We wanted out, so we built something that felt alive.
Ironically, we probably became exactly what we feared. Deadlines, stress, trial and error. The difference? We don’t hide it. We laugh at ourselves, embrace the chaos, and turn bad ideas into work people actually care about.
We’re a small team by choice. Authenticity doesn’t scale well, and we’d rather stay sharp, weird, and honest than grow into something soulless. We jump headfirst into challenges with ideas so stupid they sometimes end up brilliant. That’s our edge.
Since 2023, we’ve been creating brands, films, photography, and productions of all sizes. Work that makes us proud, tired, and restless enough to want more.
We still get bored. But boredom keeps us moving. And as long as it does, we’re exactly where we should be.

THE KING OF THE CASTLE
Manel Geada is the founder and unfortunately for him, the face of this team. He’d much rather stay behind the camera, literally, but here we are. He’s been taking things apart since he was a kid, mostly cameras that weren’t his. Luckily, this brand has managed to survive.
He wanted to talk about his curriculum but Mar deleted that part, all you need to know is that he worked with pretty much every major Portuguese brand and yes, even CR7. Eventually, he got bored. Now he's only the creative director of this studio and of Disque Disse and in the future will probably have his own funeral home.

Mar is our producer, but really she's our mother. She keeps everything and everyone in line. Us, the clients, the chaos. Nothing escapes her, and if it does, she's already got it written down in one of her spreadsheets. On top of that, she's a scriptwriter who helps breathe life into many of the ideas and campaigns we create. A true badass, and the reason this studio doesn't collapse.

Then there's Mariana, our designer. No one really knows how she ended up here, but we're not asking questions. She's the fastest learner we've ever seen, insanely creative, and sometimes lets out strange sounds that we've come to accept as brain farts. They usually lead to great ideas. She's brilliant, funny as hell, and because we're a small team, she also doubles as our in-house video editor when needed.

And then there's PJ, the newest addition to our little circus of geniuses. To be completely honest, we haven't known him that long, but somehow he showed up exactly when we were losing hope, crying into our laptops, and pretending to “trust the process.”
We don’t actually know if he likes us yet, but we're aggressively pretending he does so he doesn't leave. Yes, we are boot-licking. Proudly.
If he didn’t work with us, he'd 100% be our model. Ridiculously photogenic, disgustingly creative, and honestly, a bit too cool. We're keeping him. We’ve already locked the doors.

Guilherme, better known as Babi, joined us recently. So recently that he doesn’t have a photo yet.
Not because we forgot. We’re just… observing.
He’s quiet, a bit nervous, slightly anxious, and when it’s time to present an idea, something strange happens. Words disappear. Thoughts freeze. It looks dramatic. Almost medical. But if you wait long enough, the ideas come out. And most of the time, they’re actually right.
Talent? Yes, absolutely. Confidence? We’re working on it.
He still needs a few good scrub-downs, but the potential is very real.
We’ll keep him around. For now.
